Jea Marjori Calingo, MBA, is a visual designer, educator, entrepreneur, and creative strategist based in Rizal, Philippines. She believes that good design goes beyond aesthetics; it tells stories, solves problems, and creates meaningful experiences.
A graduate of Miriam College with a degree in Applied Arts, major in Visual Design, and a master's degree in Business Administration, Jea previously served as a Senior Lecturer I in the Department of Arts & Design, where she taught courses in design, entrepreneurship, and digital media while mentoring future creative professionals.
Her work spans branding, graphic design, marketing, and business development, blending creativity with strategy. She is the creative force behind Penny Fleur, a boutique floral studio, and Sandali, a neighborhood flower bar in collaboration with Trabi Café, where flowers, coffee, and everyday moments come together. She also built Trabi Café as a community space with a free-to-read library, reflecting her love for books, quiet corners, and meaningful conversations. Looking ahead, she hopes to grow Sandali by Trabi Café into its own space, a home where coffee and flowers can continue to bloom side by side.
Whether designing a visual identity, arranging flowers, or developing a brand, Jea is passionate about creating thoughtful work that connects with people and leaves a lasting impression.
